Associates degree or at least two years specialized training in relevant field. Successful completion of an accredited program for Ophthalmic Assistants or Technicians or equivalent plus minimum of six months satisfactory full time work under ophthalmologic supervision.Requires current experience in the last two years as an ophthalmic assistant or an equivalent combin! ation of education and medical experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities may be acquired, will be considered.
