The Registered Nurse-Wellness Coach ! will be responsible for assisting the Lifestyle Medicine Supervisor to provide screenings, health counseling and education, immunizations and provide services at wellness events. Provide Health Risk Appraisal clinics in various locations through Vermont.
Hiring Range Description:
Grade: 34/35/36
Education:
Graduate of an approved RN training program and currently licensed as an RN in the State of Vermont.
Experience:
At least one year work experience as an RN.
Special Skills / Other:
Must provide for transportation to various work sites. Must be able to work under pressure and make accurate decisions regarding the care of wellness event participants. Must be able to follow instructions with little explanation. Must have good organizational skills. Must be able to follow standard nursing protocols to make decisions in an emergency situation. Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide! care appropriate to the age of the program participants. Must! demonstrate knowledge and principles of growth and development over the life span. Must be able to assess and interpret data about the participant’s status in order to identify age specific needs and interact appropriately with the pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric participant group.
