Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Public Health seeks a Health Education Assistant II to join the team. This job opening will serve to fill a Health Education Assistant II vacancy with Perris FCC - WIC Suite.
The Health Education Assistant II will provide home visitation to pregnant and post-partum women. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently & efficiently, utilizing evidence-based program-specific guidelines and curriculum and exhibit good organization & communication skills. Duties include client advocacy, parenting education, health education, outreach, electronic chart documentation, and other duties associated with home visitation services.
The Maternal Child and Adolescent Health program offers support groups for pregnant women, home visiting services supporting the needs of newly pregnant/parenting mothers, fathers and teens. Our services support women in having healthy babies and seek to ensure children grow and develop both socially and emotionally, while also fostering positive parent/child relationships.

- Electronic charting & documentation
- Learning and adhering by the program’s best practices
- Working closely with teammates
