Business Development Associate- Boston Region:

The Business Development Associate supports Consigli’s Commercial Development lead in Boston Office. Focus on support of efforts generating work/projects in life science, office, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use areas. Reports to Director of Commercial Development.


Required Skills
  • Support commercially focused business development efforts in Boston and beyond
  • Support commercial project identification across various sources in greater Boston market – track local news, BPDA, Cambridge Development, Somerville Development, and other public planning organizations
  • Closely track local development trends and keep up to date with local politics and public planning organizations
  • Various research efforts – people associated with, and status of targeted projects
  • General project identification through networking, and visibility at industry events
  • Reporting – Monthly Developer/Commercial meetings, project tracking, and organization statuses
  • Organization of materials, client/project follow-up, meetings, etc.
  • Support in proposal materials assemblage and response writing

Required Experience
  • Experienced with, or exposure to local real estate development, with an interest in construction and real estate development
  • Strong organization and communication, and writing skills
  • Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Adobe proficiency a plus
  • Team-oriented, personable, self-starter, ability to handle multiple assignments, pressure and deadlines
