During the Young Engineering Professional Program (also known as YEPP) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following a technical track, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as an DevOps Engineer. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition.
As a DevOps Engineer within Global HR Services in the Tech4HR domain you are the expert in the field of application support of SaaS and on-prem systems. It is your responsibility to provide stable run services for HR systems such as VISMA Verzuim, Compensate and PEKO. Being ‘In Control’ is essential. It is a responsibility with impact that you shape by resolving issues within your squad, chapter and in cooperation with the supplier. You are challenged by developing expertise on various applications in order to be able to exceed the expectations of your (internal) client.
Examples
Analyzing and resolving of disruptions and incidents for various systems in order to guarantee business continuity
Contribute to In Control activities such as Life Cycle Management, logging & monitoring designs and application segmentation
Contribute to moving legacy on-prem systems to the cloud

Your development
To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Engineering Professional Program 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career.

You and your talent
A bachelor or master degree in IT, or an equivalent working / thinking level
Knowledge of cloud concepts
Familiarity with the Azure DevOps platform
Knowledge of database concepts and infrastructure
Some knowledge of secure software development practices
Familiarity with Linux and other operating systems
Excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English
Adaptive to changing situations
Good communication skills
