Assists the physician as needed with interviewing and processing p! atients. Under the clinical supervision of the physician, and the administrative direction of the practice manager, demonstrates the ability to perform appropriate procedures in the office setting. High school graduate, medical assistant training, EMS training, or nursing assistant training strongly preferred.
Requires knowledge of medical office procedures, medical terminology, word processing and computer skills. One or more years of experience with pediatric patients in a doctor’s office setting preferred. Successful candidates must possess interpersonal and organizational skills and be capable of multitasking in a patient services environment. CPR required.
