This is a Per Diem position
Need Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Overnig! ht Coverage
The Visiting Nurse Association is seeking an experienced LPN to provide pediatric high tech care to infants and children in a home care setting, under minimal clinical supervision, as directed by a Registered Nurse, and in accordance with an established nursing plan of care. There is often a need to work evenings, weekends or holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active State of Vermont License
- Previous experience working with special needs pediatric population desirable.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals and groups.
- Ability to identify emergency situations and act appropriately to provide assistance.
- Ability to travel extensively in order to conduct a home visit.
- Physical ability to perform all personal care activities and other essential job duties per current agency standards.
- Ability to complete additional training appropriate to the job prior to as! signment.
- Current driver’s license.
