The Nurse Manager of the Famil! y Birth Center directs and supervises functions and activities within the assigned unit. The NM implements, interprets, and adheres to hospital policies, procedures, standards and regulations with regards to patients, staff, other hospital employees and hospital visitors as needed, as well as supports the principles of the Shared Governance Leadership Model.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration or related field, with current RN licensure in the State of Vermont. Must be NRP certified. Certification in PALS desired.
Experience:
Three years supervisory experience required. Three years clinical experience in Obstetrics and Pediatric care required. Familiarity with concepts o f shared governance.
