A Case Management Registered Nurse coordinates short and long-term care for patients. The R.N.'s goal in a case management travel nursing job is to manage or oversee patient care/treatment to reduce stays in the hospital as well as to ensure quality and appropriate follow up care; this prevents readmission into the facility. The Case Management travel nurse job will entail working with specific groups of patients, such as people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS or cancer.
