Fletcher Allen Health Care, a dynamic health care facility located in beautiful Burlington, Vermont, has an opening for a Unix Systems Engineer.
Fletcher Allen is ! a 562-bed academic medical center affiliated with the University Of Vermont School Of Medicine. We are a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center serving a population of one million throughout Vermont and Northern New York.
The Systems Engineer will design and provide support for 60 plus Unix systems; 65% AIX, others are Solaris, Red Hat and miscellaneous Linux TSM backup system for all Unix servers and 600 plus Window servers. This position is responsible for the infrastructure for Fletcher Allen’s most critical application for EHR.
Requirements:
Four plus years administering AIX systems. Experience with designing Unix-based infrastructure solutions. Experience with Tivoli Storage Manager is preferred.
