Inpatient Psychiatrist Sought!
We are looking for a Medical Director and inpa! tient clinical psychiatrist to join our Psychiatric Services Department. This is a hospital employed position.
19 bed unit inpatient unit. Although it is a locked unit, 90% are voluntary admissions. Outpatient facility opening October 2008. Includes 80% general, 20% Geriatric, pediatric consults only and no forensics. Call 1 in 5 with strong Crisis Team doing intake in the Emergency Dept and the hospital is licensed for 188 beds. Service area 85,000. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible. Board eligibility is within five years of completion of training, Salary $185k with an additional stipend for Medical Directorship. CME alottment $4000 and 8 days. Combined time off â€" 32 days.
Malpractice, Health, Dental, and Disability insurance provided. Relocation expenses up to $8000,
Defined Contribution Pension Plan, 403-B with hospital match, and tax-deferred earnings program.
