Pediatric Social Worker &
Dual Licensed Social Worker/
Substance Abuse Counselor
Community Hea! lth Centers of the Rutland Region is seeking a full
time Pediatric Social Worker to provide outpatient clinical and
social worker services. The social worker will conduct diagnostic
evaluations and individual and family therapy in a medical office
setting. In addition, they will work collaboratively with the child’s
CHCRR medical team and outside agencies including the Vermont
Blueprint Plan. Requirements include: Licensed by the State of
Vermont as a Clinical Social Worker, at least three years of pediatric
experience in a healthcare setting or in conjunction with other job
duties. Experience required in medical crisis intervention, play, family
and cognitive behavioral therapy.
We are also seeking a dual licensed social worker who will spend
approximately 60% of the time working with an established
substance abuse population. Services will include ! individual and
group therapy, service coordination, a! nd collaboration working
with the buprenorphine treatment team. The other duties of this
position will be spent conducting diagnostic evaluations along
with individual and family based therapy in a medical office based
setting. Requirements include Licensed by the State of Vermont as a
Clinical Social Worker and Licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse
Counselor. At least three years of LICSW experience including direct
substance abuse counseling.
