At Northwestern Medical Center, we believe a better environment for care starts with a better environment for caregivers.The Rehabilitation Services Manager provides leadership for the Rehabilitation Services Department including staff supervision, program development, long range planning, problem solving, budgeting, in-service coordination and public relations for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Provides rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients at the direction of physicians.
Hiring Range Description: Exempt
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with current licensure in the State of Vermont.
Experience: Three to four years experience in supervision, program development and long range planning required.
Special Skills / Other: The Rehabilitation Services Manager must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. The manager must be able to assess and interpret data about the patient's status in order to identify each patient's age-specific needs and provide the care needed by the pediatric, adolescent and geriatric age group.
