As one of the countryâ s most livable small cities, Burlington, Vermont offers year-round outdoor recreation, a vibrant music scene and the beauty of Lake Champlain.The PACS Administrator is responsible for network and operational management of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Leads in project implementation, day to day operations, and upgrades necessary to maintain the system at optimal performance. The Administrator assumes responsibility for daily system monitoring, media storage monitoring, training, system configuration modification, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.This position is responsible for PACS system administration and works closely with Imaging Department leadership in the development and revision of operating standards, policies and procedures. The PACS Administrator oversees activities of vendors in all phases of installation, implementation and upgrade of PACS system. Maintains records on equipment malfunctions and arranges for repairs, as needed.
Is responsible for day-to-day operation of PACS equipment including image workflow, archiving, and other related duties. Coordinates training for new users of PACS to ensure consistency and appropriateness.
