variable hours/week
Facilitates rehabilitation of individuals with functional impairments on an inpatient, outpatient SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) and pediatric basis. Evaluates clients, plans and implements treatment programs which restore, reinforce and/or enhance performance and facilitates learning of those skills and functions necessary for adaptation and productivity. Adheres to AOTA Standards of Ethical Practice for OT’s.
Adheres to hospital policies and procedures including but not safety, fire, disaster plans and infection control.

Hiring Range Description:
Grade: P50
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy with current licensure in the State of Vermont.
Experience:
No experience required.
Special Skills / Other:
The Occupational Therapist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the patients status in order to identify each patients age specific needs and provide the care needed by the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient group.
