The Compliance Specialist position is critical to making this happen by supporting the Ngā Tapuwae Programme to design, develop and build solutions which meet ANZ’s compliance obligations
In this role you will:
Review and advise on the application of “Compliance by Design” principles across the the Ngā Tapuwae Programme initiatives
Apply compliance subject matter expertise to analyse information from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and solutions for stakeholders to ensure adherence to compliance obligations and enhance banker and customer experience.
Contributes to all relevant risk and compliance governance reporting to senior management, Risk Committees as required.
Build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across the organization

What will you bring?
Role Type: Permanent
Location: Auckland or Wellington
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
6+ years’ experience in a compliance focused role in the financial services industry
The ability to build a quick and strong understanding of risk polices and frameworks
Ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, including communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
Experience in change/project roles, preferred
Superior verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skill able to extract key information to practical insight
Practical experience of leading through change
Excellent analysis and problems solving skills and experience managing complex problems
Legal degree preferred
